A friend who lives in New Orleans said I should visit this house. It is really special, though in many ways I am not a "house" person. Built in the 1940s by a wealthy family, it represents an affluent, tasteful lifestyle, with extremely thoughtful design...More

Depending on how much time you'd like wonder. The gardens are vast and beautiful. I'd say easily a couple hours.

At least 2 hours. If you wanted to really see all the beautiful gardens, I would stay 2 hours longer.

Why is the price so incredibly high? The admission prices published on their website are: Admission Rates $12 Adults $10 Seniors $8 Students 11 years+ (w/ID) $5 Children 3 - 10 years Children under 3 free AAM Members free (w/membership card) AHS Members free (w/membership card) Active Military free (w/government ID card) Veterans on Veterans Day free Forgive me, but $90 (and UP) seems a bit HIGH.
