Perfect way to get away from downtown (can take the St. Charles streetcar if you want). Has great walking/running loop and home to a 9 hole excellent executive golf course.

We saw so much, walked a trail and saw the river. You can easily spend half a day here exploring and relaxing.

We took the 10 or 11 bus from downtown out to Audubon Park: it's easy to get to. While it is quite green and filled with those amazing live oaks and has a great biking / running trail, it seems a bit run down.

The park is flat out gorgeous. Beautifully kept with an excellent walking/biking trail encircling the park and full of lovely, old oak trees it's a wonderful spot to enjoy some nature time in New Orleans

This was a fun and relaxing place to go. The lay out is very pleasant and there was a nice breeze on the day we went.

We celebrated a birthday with a catered shrimp boil on the Fly (lawn on the Mississippi River). The setting was beautiful and we had great weather! Two of us came early to stake out a covered patio area and it worked perfectly.

We enjoy the shade under the oak trees and walking along the edge of the park enjoying the houses along Exposition Blvd. The Audubon Park trail is also very pleasant. A nice walk after a pleasant street car ride.

Beautiful park to walk through. Oaks trees are large and provide great shade on a hot day. Large expense homes line much of the park. There are drinking fountains and bathrooms but the park does not offer food or refreshments. There is not much for...More

We always enjoy the park--beautiful. Not sure what happened to the snow cone vendors--really enjoyed the total experience but these vendors don't seem to be around on a regular basis.

Uptown / Carrollton
Very much their own self sufficient unit within the
greater metro area, Uptown and Carrollton tone down
the urban edge with a friendly attitude and collegiate
feel. Home to Tulane and Loyola Universities, all the
students living in the area ensure that Uptown and
Carrollton stay youthful, cosmopolitan and vibrantly
fun. Two of the liveliest thoroughfares for nightlife
