The downstairs Tropical Isle bar presents live entertainment seven nights a week featuring Debi & The Deacons, Captain Leo, Rhythm & Rain and other great bands specializing in Trop-Rock. The upstairs “Top of the Trop” area has a wrap around balcony with a fabulous view of Bourbon Street, big screen TVs, a pool table and a jukebox filled with lots of Jimmy Buffet music. The world famous Hand Grenade, Tropical Itch, Horny Gator and Shark Attack are served at both bars. The perfect place for your special event or private party. Check out our live webcam of the outside entrance and also our live streaming webcam of the stage.

Tropical Isle @ Bourbon and Orleans is a must stop. Sunday evening you can hear Rain Jaudon play and the down stairs bar is slinging Hang Grenades and Shark Attacks galore. Had my first Bushwacker from the upstairs bar and that has now become a...More

My daughter decided to try it since she had heard about it and was told by friends that she "must" try it. She said that it was a tasty drink, even though she had a small one - she enjoyed it on a hot night...More

The Grenade is the signature drink for the Tropical Isle Bars in NOLA! Delicious! There are strong and plentiful! There was a live band and they were awesome. There is a tradition when in Tropical Isle....take the tiny yellow plastic toy grenade (about the size...More

Most people go to Tropical Isle for the famous Hand Grenade, but those aren't actually very good. They are strong though and that tends to be what people want on Bourbon St anyway. If you visit the Tropical Isle, order a Shark Attack, it comes...More

Hand grenades are a must. We got skinnies on ice. The shark attack is hilarious. I survived the shark attack.

Great Bar, great music, great hand grenades! So stop by when walking along Bourbon Street, make this the bar you stop for a while and enjoy the traditional cajun music.

Great atmosphere and tasty drinks. A must-stop-in New Orleans place. Everybody seems friendly, relaxed. "Hand grenade" and "shark attack" seem to be some of the most popular cocktails.

A popular little place and its easy to understand why. Great cocktails there and not too expensive. The novelty "Shark Attacks" are worth trying - they are definitely the most fun you can have for $10!!
