The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

Best Dome in the country to see a game.
If you love football this is your place. Great atmosphere. LOUD excitement with every play. The dome has great entertainment outside before the game as well as plenty of food options inside. We have visited many time and sat in different locations including 3 rows from the top and it still has an amazing view.

    WHO DAT!
I am a huge New Orleans Saints fan! It was on my bucket list to visit this magnificent stadium, ( I live in Michigan so lifelong dream accomplished!) This stadium is very deceiving from the outside. Inside it is huge! The whole park makes it a great experience. There are statues outside of the greatest Saints players and coaches, and on the inside is where the fun (and loudness) begin. We had seats on the 600 level facing one of the end zones. The seats were very high up, but we had an excellent view of the field and could make out most of the players and plays. The atmosphere is electric! When I say loud, I mean very loud and boisterous. Saints fans know how to party, how to be respectful, and how to get down! I was blown away by how nice the fans were even to the opposing team. But, they will not hesitate to yell and cuss out the Saints team (LOL.) The jazz band that played throughout the stadium halls and stadium seats were amazing. The members of the Saints Cheer Krewe were so awesome- they let anyone come up to them for photos. If you are a NFL fan, I totally recommend coming to the Caesars Superdome, it is a wonderful experience and the New Orleans Saints fans are unmatched. #WhoDat!

    Excellent football venue!
Excellent football venue. Easy in and easy out. Good food and restroom facilities. Field is a bit far from the stands, but lighting is good, and seats in the 300 section, where we sat, were comfortable. Upper level seats are way way up there!

    Seatgeek's shameful parking swap
Very easy to walk to this stadium from all the surface parking and the garages. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the area as well. Only regret was that Seatgeek sold me a Lot 4 parking space a month before our Sugar Bowl contest and then a week prior to, moved us to a surface lot 5 blocks further away from that spot. That was wrong to do. I paid for the spot plus all the fees. My guess is that they resold my space for more money. Shame on them. We won't prepay for parking again in that area. Just take our chances. There are plenty of lots all around.

Overall, the Superdome is a good sports venue, with some strengths...and weaknesses.

The biggest weakness was that the concourses were tight and uninviting, and difficult to navigate. There were occasionally some not-so-direct paths from one floor or area to another.

For the positives...the sight lines from the stands were excellent. I also really enjoyed the integration of the outdoor and indoor areas...you can enter the admissions area, and completely enjoy the outdoor assembly and performance area; and freely go between the inside and outside areas without needing to worry about showing tickets or passes. This was a great, unique set up...and a great way to spend a "pre-game"!

We came here for the sugar bowl. The people doing security were letting any size bag in and not going through bags. The stairs in the upper deck are extremely steep. The building itself is cool. But I didn’t find it very handicap accessible.

We had a terrible experience at the beginning and why the 1. I bought a small bag as it is clearly stated before you come to game and what I had on me or a clear one. My husband and I were stopped before entering by a staff member who insisted my small bag was too big and told me if I needed it for medical then I can go in or if I’m willing to pay a fee she would let us in. We came from NYC for this game and no way of finding a place for me to go back and change or leave the pocketbook without missing some of the game so we had to pay a 20 dollar extortion fee from this person. What kind of people are you hiring and how can you let something like this happen. I’m so angry and took away from what should have be a fun Sunday game. I happily opened my small pocketbook to show her what I had inside which consisted of money, credit cards, a lipstick and phone. Room for nothing else. I should be reimbursed and this person fired for such behavior. It’s unacceptable when you’re paying premium's pricing and followed rules. No one should be put on a spot. It’s only 20 bucks but can you imagine how many she may have done this to. Get your people in order we the fans deserve better.

First time here for a football game. Superdome is an awesome looking structure. Plenty of escalators. Very steep claim into nosebleed. Acoustics are absolutely terrible even though acoustic tiles were used.

The big win over the Seattle Seahawks! Concessions were convenient. Bathrooms were also convenient. Friendly staff.
