We travelled out to City Park on the 48 Street Car. It took about 30mins. We walked the park and hoped to rent some bikes to tour wider but the Group on deal we had would not be honoured so we did not proceed. Instead...More

The park is beautiful and known for its huge old oak trees hung with Spanish moss. Well worth a visit. We stood by the canal and watched a 6-foot gator swim by. The gators will come up on the banks, so of course they built...More

Take the Canal Street trolley line if the weather is good and stroll through a terrific sculpture garden organized around ponds and streams. A splendid break from the more urban attractions of the city.

I didn’t find this park to be very cool or beautiful. It did have some interesting and photo worthy low hanging branches but I found it to be a little dirty and unappealing. Maybe if I had kids or it was completely decorated for Christmas...More

Our breakfast waiter suggested taking the Canal Street trolley to the end. Walk down the entrance road and you're at the Art Museum with the sculpture garden to the left. Unbelievable place. We didn't have time but one can rent the pedal boats and ride...More

I’m not sure exactly what your question is. They do not have strollers for babies to rent like the zoo. But if you are going you definitely need a stroller because there is quite a lot of walking to be done.

Best bet is to call the city our organizers of the event and ask.

Hi, I’m not from NOLA but the city park does have a web site and maybe the event calendar may provide more information. I hope that may help.
