A central gathering spot for carriage rides, artists, and street performers. A beautiful spot for a photo opportunity on the Moon Walk across the street.

What a beautiful park in the heart of it all! After a stroll in the quarter it’s perfect for feeding birds or keeping up your feet to relax. Sometimes there are artists there sketching and painting with is awesome to watch.

Nice square. Suggest a day of walking through New Orleans away from trashy boozy Bourbon Street. Put this on your agenda.

We spend a lot of time in Jackson Square when we come to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. We love the artists, and street performers, and it is a great place to people watch. Then of course the view of St. Louis Cathedral is awesome.

It was nice to stop and see the square. A lot going on outside the square, street sellers, entertainers and a bum taking a hit on a crack pipe. There are some shops around plus the St Louis Cathedral. Parents with kids beware that one...More

Artist's gathered there to show there work, play music, do there things.. Nice restaurant near by with authentic Nola food. Just make sure that you are safe and not walking alone.

We stopped by the square to see the statue of Jackson and ended up attending mass at the St. Louis Cathedral. Beautiful!

Not a bad place to take some photos but in my opinion is isn't a must do. There are some street performers around which is more entertaining

Nothing to buy, no pressure. Just lovely gardens, and often live music playing nearby. Most recently, we went with friends new to NOLA so we took the obligatory photo with the statue and Cathedral :)

Great place to walk around, to learn and to get inspired by the troubadours. There's so many things to do and to see. I highly recommend this place is your visiting to Big Easy! New Orleans turns misery into magic.

A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty

It’s $40 a person no reservation required just hop on and ride. Ours was an hour and included a visit to the cemetery and a great tour guide named Brandon. Well worth it!
