After we had dinner on State Street with a friend, the friend come on I will show you around downtown! We walked up State and around the Capitol and back down State. A very nice building with a deranged guy as its leader.

One of the best state capitals in the nation. Very nicely maintained and kept. Highly recommend even if just for a walk.

I was there for a dinner. Its a small town but good enough for dining. I have been there for twice. First time there was a farmer market. So if u are looking something bio fruits you can get there but a bit high price.

The fruit and vegetables were unbelievable. So fresh and beautiful. The cheese bread at Stella's Bakery is a must purchase. We were visiting from Indiana and will definitely be back.

Just walking around the Capitol and visiting vendors with fresh produce was tremendous. From fresh veggies to hot cheese bread and fresh honey - there is something for everyone.

We stayed close to the Square and the dining was excellent, with a great selection of pubs, formal dining and sandwich/lunch spots.

The center of Madison Life. There is the glorious farmer's market around the square on Saturdays. In the summer there is music and everyone brings their picnic dinners--some ornate with their own small tables.

I'm really not certain. I believe the Capitol has guided tours and is handicap accessible.
