Just a beautiful sight to see. Would be more beautiful without the protestors and the hateful signs. God bless America

The building itself is really impressive and beautiful. The guide could have been better and often stumbled over his own words. Unfortunately, a lot of the assembly rooms were closed due to events. Group size was a bit too big.

This is an interesting place but I'd recommend a tour guide for a better experience. Make sure you go all the way up to get a view of the floor.

All state capitol buildings have beauty and majesty. This state capitol building is glorious. Stand in the rotunda and look up. The only word that measures up is WOW!!!

Nice place to visit and to take in the beautiful building. Forget about liberals and conservatives and just take in the absolutely beautiful building.

You can walk around yourself or go on a free tour every half hour. The staff at the state capitol are all very nice. Enter on any side and it leads to the central area.

The building is tremendous. It could not be built today. Walk around the square and look for weird things on rooftops. I like the minimal metal man perched on a rooftop across the street. The Capitol building is decorated with interesting sculpture. One problem I...More

Actually, the tree is dragged (!) inside the Monday after Thanksgiving. It takes a few days to decorate it, and the official lighting ceremony is that Friday, this year, Dec. 1. (I've worked there for 16 years.)
