I had heard about the Barrymore and it’s wonderful acts for years and finally had a chance to go. My eager anticipation gradually led to disappointment as the night went on. You have to search for parking throughout the neighborhood. There is a very small...More

I imagine the Barrymore was fantastic at one time, but it felt like it needs some updating.... from the lobby to the seating, concessions, bathrooms, and everything else. For those males over 6'3", you will need to duck while using the bathroom. Make sure you...More

Recently went back for the first time in 20 years and feels like nothing has changed since then, not sure if that's a good or bad thing though. I do like the fact there are seats for concerts so you're not standing all the while...More

We have been to the Barrymore several times. Both times we saw amazing progressive shows: Stephanie Miller and Tig Notaro. Friendly interesting crowds. Can eat/drink in theater. Sound system was great and wonderful feeling of intimacy with performers. I look forward to another great show.

I have always enjoyed the acts I've seen at the Barrymore but the facility is in rough shape. The seats and general condition of the theatre itself is sad. Very musty and in disrepair. Needs some work!

I'm all for history & nostalgia. However, there is a difference between that & old and run down. This theater unfortunately is the later. We've gone to the Fly Fishing Film Tour here for the last 4 years. Have seen the place do nothing but...More

Came to town to see a comedy show. She was excellent! Enjoyed the classic charm of this place. We were glad we did the VIP seating.
