I've paid more for lesser zoos. This place absolutely exceeded my expectations of what a "free" zoo experience should be. Henry Vilas is clean, modern, and the animals seemed to be well cared for. We were there on a weekend during spring break, and still...More

A fun night with friends. They put on another spectacular Christmas light walk. They did a great job with the animal depictions.

Maybe 3 miles? Could be less. Much smaller than the Milwaukee zoo. My 5 year old was able to walk easily around the entire thing.
