If you’ve never been to a horse race I highly recommend Oaklawn. It is really neat! The staff that checks tickets for seating upstairs could definitely be friendlier and more understanding, but other than that everyone was great.

We had never been to a horse race. Neat experience even if you aren’t a gambler. Good entertainment for an afternoon.

We went for the Rebel Stakes weekend. The weather was great. You can hang out inside or outside. We did ok the first day and horrible the 2nd day. We spent some time at the gambling tables. It gets crowded on the weekend.

Took my family along with mom and dad to the horse races! My 9 year old daughter went and had lots of fun. Family oriented with good food and cold beer. They have a decent casino also.

Had a great time at "the track" watching the Thoroughbred horses give it their all. Beautiful day! Infield activities and access was optional. $2 parking within easy walking distance. Plenty of betting windows open and lots of food options! Friendly people. Facility large enough to...More
