I decided against the hike once I heard there were rattle snakes on the trail. I'm sure its fine but not for me! We settled with going swimming in lake Catherine. It was awesome and the staff at the park was super friendly and helpful....More

We walked the trails and enjoyed it. The kids favorite part was playing in the waterfall. We will definitely be visiting again.

We started around 10 and ended around 11:30. Actual hiking took an hour 2.8 miles around Falls Branch Trails. It was cool and quiet and a great change of pace from the city. It is a slippery, steep trail if you go right, the whole...More

while the waterfall looks much bigger in pictures, it was still a beautiful hike through the woods. There were varied hikes in length and difficulty. We chose the shortest and easiest and it was still a great 2 mile workout - lots of up and...More

There are tons of geese that use that lake. Hint. I personally wouldn't swim in it. Lake Ouachita is really clean. And a great one. I have been to all this is the one I trust the most. :). Pretty hiking area. But too many... More

EXCELLENT! Sorry, I'm not a fisherman but people come from all around to fish here, and there is an annual bass tournament.

Yes! There is a swimming area with a small beach. I have also seen people swimming in the main body of the lake, but we need to be careful as many stumps in the lake.
