We read that it was an easy hike. We took my elderly, 80 year old parents and some great aunts as well as high schoolers. We chose the two mile hike. Not sure if recent rains had affected the trail or not, but this was...More

Went canoeing here May 10, 2018. Arrived late afternoon and the friendly staff rented the canoes for half price since we only had two hours left to paddle. The lake has very clear water, nice homes on one side. Road around the state park and...More

We camped in the primitive camp site at the end of April 2018. Bathrooms are super close and clean. Showers are a little walk or quick drive away. There is a pavilion with water and electricity, playground, picnic tables, plenty of trash cans and plenty...More

We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed the close proximity to Hot Springs. This park is a nice and clean with fairly large back-in asphalt space for our travel trailer. Site 69 is next to the sewer processing system hidden behind a wooden fence...More

We camped for a few nights with a fifth wheel trailer with an advance reservation. This place has some partial and full hookup sites for RV’s that are right on the water, with docks for your boat. The restrooms, with showers, were clean and nicely...More

We hiked the trails to see the falls and they did not disappoint. This was a fun family trip and we will be back. We failed to rent a kayak and get out on the lake but at least we have a reason to go...More

Drive through the campground and park at the waterfall parking lot. If you're in a hurry, take the left hand turn at the "T" Intersection about 100 yards up the trail. This will get you to the waterfall quickly. Beautiful hike and a very pretty...More

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this state park. We only went for the day, but I saw many families camping. The park is big and beautiful. It is clean and best of all, we didn’t pay a day fee. We decided to do a...More

This park is just beautiful. Full hookups, paved campsites that are very generous with space. Fire ring, grill and picnic table at each site. We were here the week before Easter and Easter weekend. All kinds of programs daily.

Would be a great park except for the factory/power plant on the far side of the lake. Nice hike to the falls.

Close. It's a small campground and you're not far from anything. Keep in mind some of the primitive sites are not level and that you might be very close to your neighbors.

We stayed in space #26, and it was a little uneven towards the back of the site. We noticed, however, that there were sites around us in camp area "B" who were more level than us. Not much of an issue for me since I own a... More
