This is a wonderful waterfall not to be missed. Realised only locals go there and not tourist by coach as one needs to walk around 20 minutes at least to reach from the parking area. It is definitely a worth while fall to visit in Yilan.

When in Jiaoxi, be sure to visit Wufengchi Waterfall. It is extremely accessible via the Jiaoxi Line Shuttle Bus service (alights at Wufengchi Waterfall, and walk about 500m to the scenic area). There are three levels to the waterfalls, however, the highest Level 1 is closed. Nevertheless, you can take very nice pictures here! Worth a visit!

Up slope, Doable flight of stairs (Do it slowly and you can reach the 3rd section). If not you still can see the waterfall from lower section. Nice view of waterfalls. Slippery walks/steps , do be careful.

Quite an easy trail along the waterfall offered good views. The steps might become slippery after raining or wet from the water trickled down. So beware.

Taking the small local bus (mostly standing room) for a short ride from the Jiaoxi train station or Jiaoxi bus depot, in 10 minutes you will arrive at the "Wufengchi waterfalls" parking lot (parking fee is required, if you drive your car here). There is grass area for picnic there. Not many benches, nor covers for sun or rain though.... More

Easy hike up to see the 3 stages of waterfall. However the 1st stage has been closed for a while already. Continue up to the catholic church and you will be able to see the stage 1 waterfall from a distance. Good to have a binoculars with you. We didn't go further up pass the catholic church.

There's 3 waterfalls. Easy drive to the entrance but no proper parking area. A short walk to the first one which is nothing much. 2nd one was rather high. The 3rd one was closed when we were there. Worth a visit.

The path leads visitors to three different tiers. Currently the highest tier is closed due to rock falling. But this tier is definitely the most impressive one!

Great short climb to the 2nd level to view the waterfall. Quite a tall waterfall and nice to take some pictures. The air is so fresh some practice yoga or Taichi there if not too crowded.

The walk to the 3 waterfalls was easy and not far from the entrance. It was free admission. Everyone was walking in orderly conduct. The #1 waterfall was closed due to landslide that blocked the path to it. That was supposed to be the most beautiful out of the 3 waterfalls. It rains the night before, therefore the water was...
