Despite having only seen it from the outside, as far as the mixed architecture goes I found this mosque to be particularly beautiful and harmonious. It is said to be mostly attended by Muslims of Chinese origin. It bears the name of the Muslim navigator who having been sent by the Ming reign came ashore Palembang three times from 1405 through to 1433.

A must-visit for those going to Palembang. The mosque is clean and I just love the arch at the entrance which has a blend of Chinese and Muslim architecture.

This masjid is very unique.. Because they have chinese style.. It's different from other. It mix chinese and Muslim on the style. So for a while you will feel that you're not in palembang.
But surely.. The atmosphere filled with peace and tranquility
This masjid is a little bit far from the city.. You should cross ampera bridge.. And it's in the middle of housing.

Aug2017. This is the first time I have seen a Chinese mosque (outside of China). A bit far from the city centre but the ride-sharing transport is quite cheap in Palembang (Uber, Grab, Gojek). The buildings are well painted and well kept.

Such a beautiful, unique, nice, colourfull, peaceful mosque. I've been there on sunday. There are not a lot of people. Some people, include me and my friends take some picts. And some girls reading holy qur'an. There are a community room for chinnese mosleem, but i didn't see some chinese mosleems.
