We found the brief demonstration & talk interesting but you don't get much of a tour. Lovely shop with some beautiful jewellery, which is the main attraction.

Atlas pearl farm is not just a hut with a demonstrator inserting a mother of pearl nucleus in to an oyster. It is a large farm water in which oysters are tied to together on string or or rope and hung deep into the water to avoid pollution and gain nutrients. Because the tourist are not allowed to going diving... More

It's ok - a humble business which probably sells more stuff in the big smoke. It's a bit too passive and the display lacks the imagination to inspire interest in buying. The showcases are dull - just rows of pearls - no love!

We arrived in the morning, it was just a normal jewelry shop located by an average looking beach. One of the vendors tried to sell us various pieces of pearl jewelry... and that was it. No explanation, no tour. I can't understand how this place is rated 4 stars on TripAdvisor. It shouldn't even be here. A real waste of... More

I spent an hour or so at the Atlas pearl farm; very interesting tour (free) by Ita, who told me of the way pearls are produced. I was also shown how the pearl is started within the oyster. The tour is free and there are a lot of pearls for sale if you choose to buy something

Three and half hour drive for less than ten minutes information. What was the so called tour? Why was advised to be there around 0900 due to tide? What the hell did the tide have to do with watching a dvd and implant demo.

We had a very nice and educational visit to the Atlas Pearl Farm in Pemuteran. The staff were very helpful and it was a very relaxed environment. We purchased a set of earrings and someone in our family now has a beautiful piece of Bali to wear. We recommend it as a stop on your visit to the Pemuteran area.

We are staying in the far south of the island (Nusa Dua) and it was more than a 3 hour drive to get to Atlas but we thought it would be worth it to see how pearls are cultured and learn as well as shop. Unfortunately, we were really underwhelmed and it was over in a flash. The 2 lovely... More
