It is a decent presidential museum, definitely not the best or the worst. There is a good amount of information. It is a good learning experience for those interested in President Truman's career. President Truman and his wife are buried on the grounds.

After visiting the museum we felt we knew more about Truman personally and professionally. What really adds to the narrative are all of the letters and notes he wrote at various times in history that are part of the exhibits.

We have been actively seeking out all of the presidential libraries in the United States this year, and the Truman Library was top notch. Excellent historical displays, especially detailing the end of World War II and the Berlin airlift.

We enjoyed our visit very much. The replica of the Oval Office is quite interesting, the mural in the entryway tells a good story and the exhibits were nicely displayed. We spent 2 hours but could have stayed longer if we had planned our trip...More

This was our second visit with young friends from out of town. The displays of the 'office' and Truman photos and documents gave nice insight into the life and presidency of this interesting figure in our history.

Must see and view roadside attraction. When traveling through Kansas City do divert to the Truman Library. It offers the opportunity to understand the man who ended WW 2 and how a small town individual could attain such power. Makes it clear that after all...More
