Peaceful. Worth the visit. Surrounding area is kept clean and is looked after. Met the groundsman while I was there.

Very interesting place, so uniquely Bali !

And for those who can’t stand crowds, this is your place to visit and take a picture in front of , instead of the bigger more ingstagram popular Temple of Heaven.

Tie on a Sarong (required and available prior to entry) and have a quiet contemplative visit. Centuries of history here.

The reviews are true that it's a really nice temple. There was just my partner & I there surrounded my quietness, while the crazy street traffic is blazing on one side.

Please remember to go round the right hand side of the temple as there is another treat

Visited this Temple as was advice to do so.
Very nice and better than most and if you already haven't visited any temples, then this would be your best bet as they don't come much better than this one, but for us, it was same, same and very boring etc.

A beautiful temple with a very long history The Hindu culture is explained through the different gods and their purpose. I found this place tranquil and the sculpture was exquisite

A very beautiful temple different from the others. It is very well maintained and closed for ceremonies. However, through the gate you can contemplate it.

A master tree brings its shade and its energy (for those who are sensitive to it).

We had the chance to meet the Guru of this place (the priest) and he told us many things: notably that it is a special place where the cremation of the deceased is carried out. They can wait 5 years for it to be their turn.

They then invited us to share in the ceremony that he was going to officiate.

And...he offered us to also receive purification on another day, which we accepted.

At the end of our purification, he explained to us that on average 4 or 4 people presented themselves like us every day. He would like to have more (I don't know why).

The ceremony lasted about 45 minutes, he came accompanied by his wife and with sarangs (for us), offerings etc. We then offered him a donation which he refused.

It was a very beautiful moment and if you have the opportunity to experience this moment (if it calls you) don't hesitate and trust him.

He speaks English very well and at one time he was a teacher. (For the record 🙏😁)
