Happy birthday to me.....

Travelled to White Sand Beach by traditional boat. Relaxed and swam... ocean very rough so I wouldn't advise for young kids. Enjoyed great seafood for lunch from Warung Sunrise.

Visited for a half day by car. Ask your driver to take the new road in some absolutely breath taking views from the road down on to the beach. Cost is 10k rupiah per person. Many different warrungs on the beach the cost of a beach chair is included in your lunch. Best to try and go at low tide... More

We do everything with scooters but those you have to leave on a parking and walk the last 3 to 400m down to the beach. Locals ride down and offer you a ride for IDR10.000. Entering the area will cost you IDR10.000/person. Once arrived on the beach every single Warung owner will approach you to get you to his or... More

Spent a full day relaxing at White Sands Beach. Were greeted and looked after all day by a lovely couple at Warung Sunrise who pampered us completely for the whole day. Thoroughly recommend!!

According to reviews is this the place to go to. Not in my opinion. We got there just after spring tide and some oil was spilled somewhere and ended up on this beach. you can imagine it was not pretty to get your feet washed with petrol to get them clean. It might be better now, but my "white sand... More

Nice beach, not white but grey, at the time we were here the waves were very high, dangerous to swim. Easiest way to get here is by boat from candidasa. Several warungs on the beach with average food, many massage ladies who are very pushy

The beach is beautiful with white sand and restaurants To get there you have to walk from the parking around 10 minutes The restaurants are good and have reasonable prices. The down side is that the waves can be dangerous as their are high and violent : our 6yo son got really scared (and us too) when one took him... More

We took a taxi to this beach, hoping to get away from the hustle and bustle of Candidasa. The drive along the "new road" was an experience in itself - this road is "new" in the sense that it is uneven gravel hacked out of the mountainside. First gear most of the way there. There is also a toll charge... More

White Sand Beach - also known as Virgin Beach. A little off the beaten path, with a rocky/gravelly path down to the beach. Pretty ocean spot. Restaurants were simple with good prices, just not too sure if most of them were "safe" for sensitive tourist bellies. Received a nice foot massage for a very reasonable price. The white sand and...
