Words cannot describe how delicious the food is here. From a very small kitchen comes food that simply is amazing and of course will not break the bank. To the team and owners here we say "Jaen Gati".Virgin Beach Bug Bug put it on your to do list or come again please!

Lovely beach in cove

A very chilled experience. Waves can be mega and can be super windy. And then the sea is flat with a light breeze. Depends on day and time. Lots of cheap warungs to choose at one end. Fishermen’s Cafe was brilliant. 50k for two brand new sunbeds (all the restaurants have a similar deal), lovely manicured lawns shaded by tall coconut trees, ladies waiting to give a message, and genuinely delicious BBQ seafood (saw the whole fresh mahi mahi and squid). Warm sunshine (of course!) cool water too (of course!). Not one of those lonely beaches, a few too many beach provisions. But worth coming.

Simply a magical afternoon at Fishermen Cafe Virgin Beach Bug Bug East Bali.
No need for a photo shoot here as it comes natural the scenery in East Bali.
Cold beers, fantastic great value food from the Fishermens kitchen and wonderful massages by Ketut and Nyoman and others.
I do believe nothing else in Bali beats here.
The water as well was crystal clear and smooth today not that it is like that 365 days of the year but great when it is.
The cafe has showers as well and so nice to have lawns and shade from the many palm trees.
Fishermens cafe, Virgin Beach, Bug Bug, East Bali. Wow wow wow. Dont forget to visit.
Tell them Pak Jero Gede sent you.

Very nice to stay during day

Very nice white sanded beach, with not too many stones in the sea. There are several little restaurants, and long chairs can be rented. Also a massage can be done on the beach. Ideal place for snorkeling.

Certainly worth a visit

I travled here from Candidasa by taxi including return pickup which was not cheap. This beach is the best along this part of the coastline. Online research convinced me I had to visit.
The entry fee was 15k and it was good to see two workers cleaning the beach. The sand was clean and the water clear. I was told at times there can be big shore wave dumping so that would not be good for children. The day I visited it was fairly calm.
Plenty of warungs with sunloungers, food and drinks and snorkel gear. I specifically sought out Warung Sunrise as I had read if you purchased food and drink then your sun lounger is complimentary. The power of online research. I'm sure other customers were paying for their sun loungers because they don't research online.
and the warung does not advertise this discount. No sympathy from me. They also have toilets and shower facility.
Enjoyed my visit to this beach.

Very nice beach, not too crowded, has a lot of cafes offering day beds upon food purchase.
Massages are offered as well.

Getting to Virgin Beach, Bali by car

Getting to Virgin Beach can be confusing. After a couple of attempts, a local hotel owner told me to put "Bukit Asah Bali - Tempat Camping di Bali" into Google Maps and we found it without any problems. When you turn off the main road, the first part is pretty rough but it only lasts 100 metres. Definitely worth going there for a few hours. Beautifully clean sea, cheap loungers and umbrellas and plenty of places to eat

Wonderful white beach

A lovely white beach 30 minutes east of Candidasa. Very clean. About 10 warungs serving food and drink. A beautiful spot to escape the crowds.

Beautiful Beach near Amlapura

Very peaceful beach, great swimming in safe water and fun outrigger boat ride, plenty of free sand or you can hire lounge chairs and buy food and drinks. Bit of a trip to get in there but worth the visit for a couple of hours or even all day.

Best beach

Definitely the best beach in the east Bali, very clean, white sand, not crowded, with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Entrance fee is 10k per person and is totally worth paying. There are some pushy sellers that would stand next to you and only leave after multiple “no thank yous” but that’s probably the thing everywhere.
