last month when i had my Nov- Dec trip to Bali,i stayed in candidasa for three nights.i had an half day tour by motorbike one day,my driver took me here.the view from asha hill is marvellous, i even can see candidasa from here.it is a good place for camping and hiking,of course a good place for photos-taking.that time,my driver took many pics of me.i think sunrise or sunset here must be very beautiful, but i didn't have chance to see both.will come to asha hill again, maybe camping here one day?

The location is great, on the cliff to watch sunrise in the morning was a great view.
Nice walk around the park and camp grounds.
Camping tent was reasonably priced, 440k for the dome tent, which was more than big enough for 4 people and can hire another mattress for additional fee.
Fire wood was provided in the camping fee and due to no city lights anywhere, the stars are amazing at night.
Sunrise is definitely worth waking up for at 6am, and there is a swing on the edge of the cliff to get some good photos in the sunrise.
Surprisingly we were the only customers there on Sunday night, this place is a lost potential, it should be more busy.

It's located in Karangasem Bali. This area is near with the other tourism places such as Candidasa, Amed Beaach and virgin beach. It's perfect place to take a photo session . And it has a camping area! can you imagine wake in in the morning and catch this superb view? The other thing it's so closed with virgin Beach , you just need to wak for 15 minutes to get virgin beach

We went twice to see if we could look at Mt Agung erupting.
The first time it was covered by cloud so we continued on to look at Black Sand Beach (from a distance) then down to White Sand Beach. From memory the driver wanted IDR250,000 for a return trip from Candidasa.
In December it is really only possible to get a good view in the earlyish morning.
The second time we asked our driver to give the hotel a call if Agung was erupting.
We got the call, had a good look at the local monkeys on the way and drove up to the Bukit Asah lookout.
Unfortunately Mt Agung was only giving off steam. Still had to pay IDR 20,000.
The driver asked IDR100,000 return for the second trip from Candidasa

This hillside area above Bugbug village has stunning views of the village, rice fields, and Mt. Agung volcano. You can look out over islands and cliffs on the sea, and if it is clear you can see the island of Lombok and it's volcanic peak. There is a campground there with tents to rent. They come complete with matresses on platforms, with blankets, sheets & pillows. The rental price includes a bundle of firewood so you can have a fire. There is one tent site set up as a small warung where you can buy snacks, noodles, and drinks. They will cook for you if you choose. There are showers & toilets, and you can rent a locker if you choose. White Sand Beach is down the hill from here - you can get a motorbike to take you if you don't want to make the long trek down & back up again.
