Bhagavathy Amman Temple is a peaceful place.The temple has good architecture and it is 1000 to 2000 years old.

Male devotees are asked to remove their shirts/t-shirts while entering the temple. The temple is small but it is a famous temple.

Bhagavathi Amman temple also known as kanyakumari temple. It's divine actually, must visit place in kanyakumari. Historic temple will definitely give u peace of mind. Just next to the ocean also gives beautiful view. May goddess kanyakumari bless everyone.

the temple located close to sea..amman deity here famous for her diamond nose ring..better to go in night because less crowd and you can spend better time in temple..day time its crowded..there will be temple staffs who can explain about the temple..you just pay them...More

Yes dress code is for mem only. They have to remove shirt and banian. For ladies no dress code.

Yes, there is a special darshan counter. But on most days the normal darshan itself is quite accessible. Ladies can wear Sarees or Churidhar. Please avoid skirts and maintain the sanctity. For men Dhothi is preferred but... More
