I have visited today the newly built Tirupati Venkataeswara Temple Kanyakumari on the sea shores. High divinity maintained felting a peace of mind and energy to all those who visit here. The temple can be entered without any hurdles and the main shrine of the lord is seated straight from the entrance itself and so all can have agood view from the outside itself. While entering inside the Priest offers to everyone free of cost archana and prasadam without any tickets. Their is only one hundi placed inside to which offerings can be made as you wish. The temple can be visited within ten minutes if their is no rush outside. As the temple timings are from early morning to dawn their will be closing for poojas every hour and so check the timings. Toilet facilities and car parkings are available free of cost. Transport bus services also available from the temple. No restaurants nearby now. To arrive turn left from the main junction before the toll to Kanyakumari sea shore and the exact place of the temple is at the place called chinnamuttom which is one KM from the toll gate. Don't miss this temple great experience

Kanyakumari Temple is one of the Shakti Peethams. It is believed that the right shoulder and spine area of Sati’s corpse fell here creating the presence of kundalini sakthi in the region.
