It is best to go during the monsoons. the waterfall is dry even during winter. However there are some small trickles that flow throughout the year. About 200 steps take you down to the the small temple. The rocky terrain is a picnic spot where one can spend many hours just walking around. Monkeys live in there, so no food items please.

One has to be careful with small kids. and the stairs are tough for the elderly people. Take your drinking water when u go down to temple. monsoon and winter is the nice time to visit but monsoon is preferable. There can be sudden rush of rain water in case of rain also. take precautions.

A historical temple of Lord shiva.
Quite natural, fabulous along with adventures (dangerous in meaning of stones and river highly risky) place.

This place was good . But in order to get down, you have to walk like a thousand steps which offcourse is tiring but its worth it. The water bodies are very dirty and not well maintained. There are lots of big rocks which you can climb onto. When we visited it ,there were not much water so not sure which month the water level rises . There are also small small water bodies filled with small fishes and crabs . Usually not much tourist around this place . Had a fun time .

The place looks very commercial for people who want to go for an offbeat trail , the temple kund as you descend down the stairs looks littered with plastic.
Now if you want to head to Omkar gufa , thats another story!
There's a trail (more than a km) it gets very narrow at places , and it's below a cliff overhang, with sheer drops , it eventually descends down to another kund , this 1 is unspoilt, due to its inaccessibility, and then you have a samadhi of a baba , which is again a vertical climb , there are ropes to aid the ascent, the views are awesome, you will also find peacocks on the way!
Travel light, pack food, this will take the entire day.
It's possible to go all the way to the Chambal river from here, but we were short on time , if you are well prepared , you should think of maybe spending the night there , but get your camping gears .
From railway station you will find shared autos to aerodrome, ask them to drop you near the bus stand , where you will get buses to Rawat Bhata , you have to get down at Rath kankra , from there it's a 5minutes walk . If you want to head back in the evening try leaving before sunset ,if you are dependent on buses to drop back to the city, download google map before you leave Kota city limits, you can also contact 9887930176 Atul Rajak , to take you to the place, he's a local 6seater autowala , we paid him inr 400 to drop us back to the city station in the evening, but again he was heading back to the city and there were other locals , if you are booking for a group up , down he ll obviously charge more . There were just 2 of us , but this can be fun in groups , but make sure you are wearing trekwear , not for the faint hearted !
