My all time fav place to go for a good climb and neat view! Carry lots of water for the climb and wear sun protective gear, hats and sunscreen because there are not many big trees to rest in shade.

Tikona is a short and sweet trek and highly recommended for beginners. The road to the base of the fort passes along Pawna Lake and is beautiful. The fort climbing was nice as they are very slippery but the experience was good. The top of the fort is really hard to climb. The stairs are slippery but you can climb on it with the help of wires. Many womens are there to sell Hot bhajji's with chai. In Rainy Season, the cloudy view is a must watch.... More

Went this 23 July 2016 ,The best time to go is during the rains. Has some slippery climbing spots.Wear running shoes with grip and carry light snacks . The view from the top makes the small climb worthwhile Highly recommended for first timers and beginners to trek
