Barsh kaman is a Historical place in Vijayapura ( Bijapur ). It is a best picnic spot for all age persons. It is must see place in Vijayapura.

Its thought to build 12*12*12 kamans in bijapur. The son adil shai was killed by his father thinking that son will be more famous if he builds this.

This incomplete structure would have been a monumental effort had it seen the light of the day. Had the structure been completed it would have had 12 levels of the arches and would have rivaled the Gol Gumbaz in Bijapur.

It is an unfinished monument, eloquent of the potential of the final structure that could have been. We had visited it in the evening, and the place was fairly desolate, but quite well maintained. Definitely worth a visit, after the Gol Gumbaz.
