This is one of the biggest dams in Karnataka. And this season having seen very heavy rainfall, we were hoping to get very good views. Unfortunately, your are not allowed onto the road on top of the dam, nor are there any real vantage or viewing points from which to see and admire the dam. There is a very touristy park/garden- which is very nice. But then, we did not come here from the glam- we wanted the dam !
