Nothing great about this beach. The best part was the food served at one of the small restaurants near the beach. Authentic & delicious Keralite food that you can savour. The restaurant owners were warm & friendly in spite of the language barrier. We went here on an afternoon hence we didn't find the beach great in the scorching sun.... More

This place is not recommended for non-localites, the crowd is unruly and the places is littered with just about anything.

The beach is becoming popular due to the specialties, I found the beach quiet different from the regular beaches I visit. The beach is neat and clean, developments are well planned with food outlets, tiled walk ways etc. The barges on both sides of the azhi (Sand Sedimentation) fitted with shutters to prevent the saline water from the sea entering... I went to this Beautiful beach on 03rd March 2016, in the morning after swimming in Marari beach, I went to Thaikal Beach which is a wonderful beach, then I came to this Andhakaranazhi beach, Kerala government has done some development activities to attract tourists to this beach. To my opinion this beach is better than Marari beach, must visit... More

The beach is a neat one . It is around 5- 8 km from cherthalla town , (in allappuzha district). It is free to public. The waves are calm during this part of the year. A good place for you to spend with kids. We can have a football or even fly a kite.

My 'own' Beach...Could be better attract more visitors if authorities take more neccessary arrangements. Full time Police Aid Post established last month was a good move.

The beach is situated in the foreshore road. This beach is clean and calm. It's not so crowded, so it is a nice place to spend your free time. Some construction works have been done to provide visitors amenities like seating, toilets etc. Overall a nice place..

It's a nice and cozy beach in between alleppey and cochin. Take a left turn from ARTHUNKAL CHURCH and enter the sea side state highway to Fort Cochin to reach this beach. There were lot of beaches on this route. You won't be able to find good hotels/restaurants or fuel stations on this route. The roads are narrow two laned... More
