Must visit place in Allepey. The museum has hundreds of very beautiful artifacts mostly made up of ivory and crystals. Ivory collection is simply awesome. You could also see all kinds of swaroski crystals from beautiful peacock to lord ganesha to wild animals to flowers. Crystals are beautifully carved and a delight to eyes !!

The Museum is located very close to the bus stand. The very appearance of the Museum from outside tells the visitor that one can expect something special inside. The entrance fee is Rs.150/-per person. It is a private museum. The ground floor has collection of paintings articles of special value and artistic nature from various countries. The first floor has... More

This place was on the list of 'must see' spots on the leaflet handed over to us on arrival at Ramada Alleppey. We browsed the net briefly and read some good reviews about it and decided to visit. Located opposite the coir factory and about 4 km from Ramada this is a private museum built in honor of Revi Karunakaran... More

We visited there seeing great reviews online and also suggestions from a few friends. Its a private owned Museum, in memory of the businessman Mr. Revi Karuna Karan. The exhibits are his personal collections. The collections include antiques, crystal, china, ivory made items, precious stones etc. For people who are interested in these type of collections, its a great place.... More

It is a must go place, if you don't go there then I don't think you need to see anything, its just brilliant, its a private museum but the stuff they have is so much that even government museum cannot afford them. It have I think india's largest ivory collection. Its just a must see place. And i assure you... More

This is a large private collection of Ivory, china, crystal and world artefacts. All collected over many years by the man who employs thousands making coir products. This is a private display of personal wealth, interesting but not amazing.

This is a memorial museum constructed by Mrs Betty Karen wife of Late Revi Karunakaran a leading coir businessman in kerala. It contains all precious crystals and artifacts either collected by the family or gifted to them. Collections are really awesome and surprisingly huge. If you are interested in antiques and stones this place is right for you. But they... More

So I visited this place with my parents and it was our observation that Mrs Karunkar has done great justice to the memory of Mr Revi by opening this museum. It would possibly have been wrecked in the government/state hands as some of the artefacts on display are priceless. But in this place the artefacts are beautifully displayed, there is... More

If you're in Alleppey it's mandatory to visit this place. Very reasonable on entry fee. It's a dedication to the man who brought revolution to the coir industry around the world. His wife, he himself and their daughter have collected artifacts, certified rare collections and special edition items all of these are placed here. The biggest ivory collection, biggest swarovski...
