We had a really excellent 6 hour day cruise and would highly recommend this company to host you. In terms of booking the day, the process was easy and was helped very much by the great communications from the business which set out our options, how to make payment and importantly, where to meet up with the boat.
Although we weren’t overnighting, we did choose an AC option because we didn’t know how hot it would be on board (by having an AC boat means there is an AC in the bedroom on the boat (if you were overnighting you would also stay on this boat, hence the bedroom, which also has an en suite shower and loo); however, we didn’t need to use the AC room at all as we spent the whole day sitting on the top deck under awnings with a fan, just the two of us watching the world go by! Lovely. There was loads of room, and plenty of places to sit/lie down. What I really liked was that a big Bluetooth speaker was provided on board so we could listen to our music all day. That was a really great touch to have that facility.
When we boarded we were given a coconut each to drink and there was a nice fruit bowl and unlimited bottled water. For lunch, we opted (you are asked for your preference a day in advance) for the non-meat/fish lunch option and the vegetarian food was excellent, with a great selection of dishes, all freshly cooked on board by a really good chef. One dish in particular (a Keralan green bean dish) I really loved and have tried to replicate that since coming back to the UK. There is plenty of food, maybe too much so I hope the crew were able to eat what we couldn’t eat. For lunch, all the boats tie up for an hour or so when you eat, you won’t be moving. That was fine with us.
Later in the afternoon, afternoon tea is served with fried banana. Again, most enjoyable.
While on board the crew are very discreet so if you want privacy you can have privacy. This is also helped by the configuration of the boat with the upper viewing deck effectively setting the guests away from the main workings of the boat. We thought the crew were excellent.
Overall, a really enjoyable day with a great tour operator. Highly recommended. We thought the 6 hour day cruise was just the right amount of time for us. The backwaters are beautiful and very interesting as the backwaters are also home to many people. Would I do this again? Definitely, yes.

A wonderful night aboard the PicAdly Royal Suite houseboat on Lake Vembanad. Whole boat to ourselves, lovely king size bed with white clean bed linen. Jacuzzi bath that we did not use (our choice) but a very good shower. Marvellous calm way to cruise once you clear the main exodus from the dock. Beautiful views and a great opportunity to get into a smaller boat to explore the smaller waterways and villages, great local guide who answered all our questions. Chef on board did a marvellous job of catering to our vegetarian needs, much too much tasty food for us so had to request a reduction in quantity! Lovely fresh fruit and food, staff great and couldn’t do enough for us. Captain a gentleman helping a lady get on and off the boat.

The boat we were on seemed like it was brand new and spotlessly clean, the crew couldn’t have been more friendly. Despite a small hitch where we were sinking due to a malfunction of the marine manifold system the trip was absolutely stunning, comfy bed and luxurious quarters we were surprised to have the boat to ourselves too for its size.
Tip, ensure you stock up with your tipple of choice beforehand as there is no off licence by the side of the river…..

Had an incredible experience with Alleppey Backwater Cruises. Our interactions with Vaneeth were easy and his follow through was great. Boat takes a little adjustment - it is not exactly the same as a hotel room but once you get used to that it is just an amazing experience. Crew on our boat were all wonderful….cheerful, hard working, accommodating and they just made sure we had a great time. Food beyond wonderful….you will not be hungry …they were great also because they would give us the meal plan ahead of time and make sure we were ok with it. Village walks were so memorable and really allowed you to understand village life and allowed you to interact with local people who were al so wonderful. Highly recommend this experience

It was a fantastic experience staying on a Waterwheel Houseboat, which met all of our expectations for cleanliness and basic amenities.The rooms and interiors were elegant and well-kept. We relished a traditional Kerala lunch in the beautiful weather and midst of lively music.

Had an extraordinary involvement with the houseboat, the boat was perfect and food was generally excellent. Ride was smooth. It was a superb outing, one of the most mind-blowing I had in my life. I truly partook in all the food and the staff on the boat were so quite obliging.

Superb experience past our thought process. Correspondence was truly obvious for their clearness in evrything. Continuously prepared to figure out our quires in a fine manner. Boat quality and food on board was truly cost commendable. Go after night stay plans. Truly client well disposed folks.

Backwater cruises are the most fascinating part of Kerala trip.
They are such an awesome cruises floating that it makes our 24 hours most memorable.
Such is the beauty of service of the attendant staff and their personal care that it makes one feel homely.
It is the must do activity in Kerala.

We booked the houseboat for 3 nights, and it was absolutely amazing. Our crew were so lovely. The food was wonderful. I cannot recommend this trip and this company highly enough. 3 days of pure chilled out bliss. Just me and my friend on the boat having a completely chilled out time. Nothing was too much trouble for the crew. The boat was very clean and our bedroom and bathroom were excellent.

Dear Sir, Thanks for your valuable enquiry. Tariff depends upon the travelling date, no of people travelling, no of bedrooms required etc. Also we have both Day-cruise and Overnight cruise schedule.
Following are the itinerary for an overnight cruising :
Overnight Cruise schedule :
Timing : 11.30 AM - 9.00 AM ( next day )
On your arrival day, the cruise begins at 11.30 am at Alleppey jetty and moves to different location from Alleppey lake through the Punnamada lake (Venue of the most famous Nehru trophy Boat race), and and moves to village areas in and around through Vembanad lake, Marthandam kayal, R block, C block ( this is a man-made paddy field below sea level ), Kuttanad, Vattakalayal etc. During the cruising you can see many villages, paddy fields, churches etc and enjoy the real village life and this is the best way to experience Kerala beauty through the backwaters. Will have lunch in the houseboat itself and will anchor around 5.30 PM for night stay. Either you can stay back at Houseboat and can have walk in and around village areas and will have dinner around 8.30 pm in the houseboat. On next day, by 8 AM we starts cruising and will have Breakfast in the houseboat and drop you back at Alleppey jetty by 9.00 AM.
Activities while cruising :
You can enjoy the sightseeing while you are doing the cruise in the boat.
During cruising you want to stop any places of interest you can inform staff and they will stop the boat for you according to the possibility.
While cruising you can visit Shops, Restaurants, Toddy shop, Massage centers, Seafood/Fish shop etc, according to your interest.
Sightseeing areas while cruising : Paddy fields, Coconut lagoons, Resorts, Temples, Churches, Sanctuary Etc.
You can enjoy various activities in and around the surroundings, including fishing, body massaging and canoeing.
