We are so lucky that we found Ayurbhadra!
It was truly great 5 days of treatment.
Dr. Meenu was very kind to us. She made diagnostics, gave us recommendations on our lifestyle, food, prescribed some medicine and Ayurvedic treatments.
And girls who were conducting treatments are very nice and caring too.
Definitely recommended!

Oddly enough everyone recommended this place but it really let us down. They were running really late so we had to wait for 20 minutes or so. Both my husband and I got massages and both were very poor. He had 1 man who did no pressure at all and forgot one leg. There were 2 women doing my massage, and that sounds nice in theory but isn't in practice. That isn't only because of them since no 2 people could ever perform the same massage at the same time with the same pressure - so no fault there. But they talked with each other the whole time! And that ruins the entire relaxation of a massage. How could one relax while 2 people discuss something regardless of language.
Plus it was pretty expensive for Indian relations. The same massages are 500 rupees less in Alleppy.

First i will tell you our centre is not a spa centre.We mostly try to give relevant Ayurveda treatment.We start at morning 8am.i always will not encourage late massage after 6.30 pm.When you mailed me i given your timing at morning.Since you told me health issues i recommended my consultation and massage.You only directly came to my centre and without my knowledge booked for leg and back massage.The treatment before you was a patient.I will give preference to first person in the treatment room than a person sitting outside.Some times they need special traction which i have to do.So those who no well about me and my centre will not make a complaint about time lagging.i am not running a business centre.its more hospital .
if i thinks about money why i given two ladies for you?normally for leg and back one therapist will be doing.since you have back pain i told two ladies have to do.In between one of my therapist eye steam oil went.so they talk about it only.About your husband he was in a hurry to do smoking.He given tip to my staff.My staff was not much fluent in English ,it is not a mistake of my staff.I am the ultimate person to decide how many therapist will do.
After all i ask you how was the massage.you told me good.If any problem why you don't tell me at that time.In alappey many places are there those doing in 500.i am using good oil and maximum quality that i can given.It is easier to blame any one in a public.But you can tell me problem,the time when the treatment was over.Without any notification it was a first experience for us.Anyway thank you for all.You only told you came here since due to recommendation of people.If we are not genuine why people recommend us?

My partner and I visited Mararikulam for a relaxing holiday. We thought we should try out the famous ayurvedic massage that everyone keeps talking about. Our homestay host suggested that we visit Ayurbhadra and that we would not be disappointed by our visit and he was right.
It was the first time I ever gotten a massage and the entire procedure was utmost relaxation. It was an irreplaceable experience.
But that is not the main reason why I adore this place. I've had severe hairfall for a couple of years. I visited many allopathy doctors but all I got was a number of tablets to intake. I was getting fed up, depressed too rather. I decided to give ayurveda a try and my kerala trip coincided.
It was a sunday when we visited Ayurbhadra. Doctor Meenu wasn't there as it was a sunday. When I asked the masseuse if I could get a consultation and he said the doctor wasnt there but he would call her. She is the nicest person to come down and talked to me in detail about my issues. She explained everything in detail and suggested medication. It's now been about a month since I started taking the medicine and i definitely see a drastic improvement in my hair condition. To me it seems like magic. I am extremely grateful to her and I think she is one of those genuine doctors who cares about her patient.

Dr. and staffs are simply wonderful! We took 7days detox treatment and Dr. Meenu explained everything and gave us very personal attention and care. Communication was great even before and after the visit. The massages were great. We highly recommend!

Visited Ayurbhadra Ayurveda yesterday. Got connected to Dr. Meenu's place. What started as a task on my 'to-do' list on my short visit to Kerala, ended up to become one of the highlights of my trip. Being my first Ayurvedic massage, I thought it would be a good idea to try out the best and biggest massage package with them (which lasts for 150 minutes), which Dr. Meenu gladly agreed to - It involved a 45 minute whole body massage, followed by a herbal pack being applied to the entire body, which gets steam heated, followed by Shirodhara / Milk dhara.
To be honest, I haven't been this rejuvenated in my life. Thus, a big thank you to the ever-smiling Dr. Meenu and her staff.

We got an appointment very easy for the next 30 minutes. I had the Ayurvedic treatment for 90 minutes - including the oil treatment. The massage was a four hand treatment. Both were perfect! And the prices are really fair. So give your self a nice present and go there.

I had a very fruitful consultation with Dr. Meenu who spent a great deal of time with me and discussed my treatment in detail and promised to keep in touch via email. She is very knowledgeable and caring and genuinely wants to help. I liked her very much and wish there were more healers like her.

This was my 2nd stay at Ayurbhadra for a 2 weeks treatment, coming especially from France for this special stay. It all went very well: Dr Meenu Swaminath gave me a lot of advices and adapted the treatment accordingly. She was always very present and attentive. The 2 masseuses, Renjitha and Sreekutti, were very efficient and cared a lot about me. The price was an all inclusive one and very reasonable, including consultations, 2 hours treatment/day, medecines, Tuk Tuk from homestay to the Ayurbhadra center (50000 roupies). A long treatment is good to experience because it is much more than a beauty massage. It is all about releasing all toxines from body and mind. Worth try it!

The difference between Ayurbhadra and other massage places is profound. Primarily, every massage is done by two therapists, who concentrate on every minute detail (including application of a powder on the head to prevent us from catching a cold, after washing your hair). Before choosing a massage, Dr. Meenu spends quality time with us to understand our needs and jovially explains everything in detail. Last but not the least, very reasonable prices for high quality service with a personal, human touch

Amazing massage, very reasonable price and extremely friendly staff. Place is clean and nice, with hot shower to wash off the oil. Fully satisfied. Thank you.
