The gorge is unbelievably cool. Of course, this year the water flow was enormous. Great falls, chasm, springs. Nicely done stops describing what your seeing on the roadway. The small park is very poorly cared for and poorly appointed. Nice geologic feature, but sort of...More

-This deep canyon is visible from the interstate, but you really can't experience the views or the lovely park without getting off at the Tuttle exit. Our family is from the area and we spend many holidays here, the last one being for Mother's Day....More

This "off the road" State Park was a pleasant surprise. $5 entry fee. The views were amazing and the faults in the earth were something I have not personally seen before.

This was a nice walk to the bridge in which you can walk across, very pretty. We brought a lunch and had a picnic further back in park. $5 entrance.

Due to a lack of signs it takes time to find the entrance road off Highway 30. Once on the spot you will really enjoy the Gorge suddenly opened in front of you! Particularly suited for dicovering the various layers of this part of Idaho...More

I've driven past/over this gorge a number of times, but never stopped until recently. It's pretty interesting, lots of places for pictures- one in particular is called "the devils washbowl" It's really an interesting stop

Do your homework before you get to Malad George State Park, because once there, you will not get any information or help on site. When we visited recently, there were no brochures for the self guided tour and no one available in the ranger kiosk...More

This is a cool place that's a good quick stop if you want it to be. Entrance fee is $5 and it is a loop that you drive through and get out at 6 different stops. The best is the first stop at devil's washbowl....More

Just a short drive from Billingsley Creek Lodge, Malad Gorge offers a striking contrast to the green green Hagerman Valley. We visited early to beat the August heat, then continued into Bliss for breakfast. Easily accessible from either the main freeway or Hagerman, the park...More

Stunning views of this gorge coupled with some walking trails make for a lovely stop. A self guided series of stops offer some information about the area and views.

There is no camping but great picnic area with a nice clean bathroom. Worth the time to at least stop & explore. Amazing views. Do it early or late in the day due to hot weather.
