Nice zoo for the kids

If you have young children and they have never been to a zoo or you need something additional to do this is a good place to go. The walking paths are nice and they are wide so... read more

We went in the middle of the afternoon and it was too hot. Most animals were just laying around Due to the heat. There is a varied selection to see but not able to get photos without fences in the pictures. We did think the 15 minute train ride was good. We did buy food to feed the animals. You... More

Let me start by saying this is not Animal Kingdom or even a large zoo, so if you're expecting that, you may be disappointed. However, for a small zoo, this one is amazing. We were fortunate to visit while they had two baby giraffes and were able to watch them bottle feed one of the giraffes. You can feed many... More

If you have young children and they have never been to a zoo or you need something additional to do this is a good place to go. The walking paths are nice and they are wide so you don't feel crowded. Also there is a ton of shade and places to sit if you need to rest. They have a... More

I loved the unusual storks and budgie encounter. Getting to see animals that aren't at other zoos is great. However, I think much more educational information is needed about its residents. More signage to help navigate around the areas would be helpful too.

I took my two teenagers to the Gulf Breeze Zoo on a recent visit to the Pensacola area. We had so much fun! We fed the animals and bought budgy sticks to feed the budgies. My teens wanted to see every animal...they even enjoyed the train which they hadn't been on since they were little. The diversity of animals is... More

This was our second visit to the zoo in 3 years, and we had another very positive experience. This year, we opted to include the train ride in the price of admission. It really doesn't take you anywhere you can't go on foot, but it saves the walking PLUS you get a guided tour. And, it's sorta fun! Another lesson... More

Everyone goes on & on about the zoos near me in Knoxville TN. This year we have been to the Nashville & Knoxville zoos & this one far & away out shine either. When we visited Navarre Beach this was never in our plans. I am so glad we came. More animals with closer contact than any zoo. Most zoo... More

We were visiting my in-laws for the weekend on their annual month-long trip to Navarre. The beach was full of the ouchy sand flies so we took a morning detour to the zoo. It wasn't too far and was nice and shady. It is a decent size for the size of the town. The petting zoo was fabulous with lots... More

We got there and all of our phones were dying. Lady at the counter offered to charge them while we walked through the zoo. She want above and beyond her work duties. It was very hot, so most animals were hiding in the shade, but we saw plenty. The caregivers seemed to really care about their animals. Our only complaint... More

We visited in September, when the kids were back in school and it wasn't quite so hot. We entered thru the gift shop (clever planning there!😀) and bought two cups of animal feed to bring in. At 3.50 a cup, it was money well spent. You can feed the goats, pigs, and sheep as well as fish, birds, turtles, llamas... More
