We did this group tour with about 10 others. The best part of the trip was the others on the tour. The trip up and back was long and the top Few attractions were pretty boring. A couple of good views of the ocean and Kampot. If you can find other things to do while in Kampot do so and... More

We went via a tour. The ride up is very comfortable as the newly build road is very smooth. It gets cool at the top so bring something light to put on. The abandoned are disappointing. Because most of them have been stripped out they are basically concrete shells. And if you think you can take cool pictures of derelict... More

The moto ride through bokor is part of the fun. It is nice to walk around the rooms, to imagine how the spaces and walls once were. There are cracked tiles, a former fireplace, parts of pipes, sinks. It would actually be a great place for a rave if such thing was possible in Cambodia.

Nothing exciting. Old abandonned buildings...it is not a national park anymore. No wildlife. No nothing....pretty boring. You can do something else in this area....don t use kampot tour company. See my other review...

We were totally unprepared when we decided to visit here. Our ped didn't have the most comfort seat and we took no provisions with us. It's quite a distance going up but the views are just breathtaking. There's places to stop on route for great photos and s food stop for some chicken / fruit etc and refuelling. A great... More

Was impressive and awesome to visit but there's already a lot of construction going on. Go earlier in the day to avoid all the tourists. Very easy to drive up by scooter. It's a little chilly up there as well.

We rented a motorbike in town for $5/day and rode up to Bokor Mountain. The ride itself was really pretty, just a tad scary, and pretty long. When you get up to the abandoned casino at the top, it's super spooky! We went inside and looked at all the rooms, even found the tippy-top of the roof! It was foggy... More

Fantastic drive up to. Ok or hill station, brand new road strange in comparison to the abandoned buildings up there. The hotel still has a certain grandeur and it takes just a little imagination to see it in all its previous glory. Fabulous views and it's worth having a coffee in the new hotel, quite a surreal experience.

As others have said, it is worth going for the moto ride, cool air and views. Make sure you get there before 11am, as the clouds roll in after that. Temps were 18C compared with 28C in town.
