A most enjoyable visit
Jun 2020 • Solo
I thoroughly enjoyed my hour visit to Paradise Gardens. Samam Chay took me on a free guided tour of the small garden. He is knowledgeable about the pepper they grow and very interesting to talk to as well. As I'm interested in learning about pepper, he patiently repeated himself. He also gave me a free taste of the salted peppercorns and advised its use to cook with meat . I recommend a visit and chatting to Samam.

Samam was our tour guide. He was very informative and friendly. If you’re looking for a fun quick tour and history of Kampot Pepper I highly recommend this. And their shop is great too for buying their pepper as well as salt, Turmeric and other spices.

Very interesting! I saw this place as I was riding from Kampot to Kep and stopped for a visit. Saman gave me a free tour and explained all sorts of things about growing peppers and gave me a free taste of several kinds. All delicious! I was able to see people working in a special room to sort all the seeds as well. It is hard work I think.
Very nice visit and very good prices in their little shop with no intense pressure to buy.

Nice place for pepper
Mar 2020 • Couples
We arrived wanting to buy some pepper. We left with a couple kg pepper but also a whole lot of knowledge about the production process. Met a really nice guy who gave us a run through in their small sample plot. Very clear presentation and answers to our questions. Definitely worth a visit as it's not too far from the city centre.

Saman gave us a lovely tour of the life of the pepper corn! Really interesting. Nice little shop and car park, we arrived by motor scooter. A great visit to a great local product which is delicious and easy to transport back home. Now looking forward to a nice Juicy, steak with salted pepper corn sauce! Thanks Saman. 👍🏻🍽

Our guide Samam explained how Kampot grows its world-famous peppers. It’s a short tour, which was nice on a hot day. Samam answered all our questions and was very informative. We enjoyed the free samples as well.

Great little pepper farm
Feb 2020 • Friends
If you don’t want to travel all the way to La Plantation or the other larger farms, definitely stop by here to learn all about the delicious peppers made in the area. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, especially the wonderful Korng who gave us a informative tour, answered all our questions, and was just an all around lovely person to meet. Definitely recommend for a quick pepper tutorial.
