Went for a quick walk around the park. There's a cute little waterfall and the boardwalk is well kept as well as the side pathways you can take. We actually saw an owl resting in a tree! This is just a really nice park tucked away.. also an easy walk for any fitness level.

I am so happy I found this little gem tucked away behind the Friendly Center! In the middle of a busy day, it's so nice to walk through the winding trails and "get lost" in the middle of the city. Would absolutely recommend for people of all ages, as well as the bicentennial gardens across the street! Combine the two... More

I have been walking and sitting in Bog Garden for years. It's one of my favorite parks in Greensboro. I love to find a bench off the main trail and read. I forget I am in the middle of Greensboro and not in a far away forest.

There were so many flowers in bloom so many colors sizes and shapes but the pink roses were extraordinary.... don't know why this year but they just were and the scent of a fresh blooming rose....well u can imagine that's where the phrase STOP and smell the roses came from, you can't get enough, in a store or shop roses... Greensboro has one of the most unique city parks in the Eastern United States. You can see anything from large Owls to chip monks. Several different types of ducks, that mate and raise their young are visible as well as Canadian Geese. At least ten different types of song birds fly around in the trees and shrubbery. The park is... More

I have been here many times and enjoy walking the trails. It is not a big area so don't think that you are going to walk many acres. The plants throughout are a nice break from walking on sidewalks. On the dirt trail they have built a spillway/creek type scene that the kids love checking out. On the raised deck... More

We loved strolling through the Bog Garden -- one of our favorite stops on our visit to Greensboro. My wife did some birdwatching & I took pics of various plants -- due to our timing (Labor Day weekend), there were still plenty of summer plants in bloom! Our only disappointment: we didn't spot any owls! Nature lovers will thoroughly enjoy... More

This place is tucked between a subdivision and a shopping center. We circled it, wondering if we were in the right place. There was no apparent dedicated parking so we parked in the shopping center and walked across the street. It was a very hot and humid day but when we stepped into the park everything changed. It almost had... More
