Peaceful and full of people all running, walking, walking their dogs and kids playing ball. The trails are nice and shaded which is great and the park itself is very clean.

This is a fascinating site. The history of the United States is offered via film...there are buildings reconstructed as they were during the Revolutionary War period. It is a beautiful park

We went to this park having heard that they had a small but excellent museum with videos, historic relics, and a gift shop with items suitable for adults and for children. It's great that they have 2 videos, one of which is only about 15...More

Thinking this was a walking park, we arrived to breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the stroll. To our surprise, we had stepped on to very historically-rich grounds of Greensboro! Amazed by the statue of General Greene located centrally in the entrance of the...More

Just got your question. Hope this answer isn't too late. I spent about 30 minutes there since I teach US History and the staff was overly accommodating to me. There is a brief film and the outside buildings.

There are no picnic areas in the battlefield park out if respect. What the others here are referring to is called Country Park which is right next to the battlefield. There are short trails between them.

You can call 336-525-3009 and it will start the tour. It also sends you a link to the web site that was a little easier to use.
