Thank you for a restful relaxing stay. We stayed in the tented camp. Heard the sea at night. Felt like we were the only people on the planet under amazing stars. The tents are larger than most tented camps. Loved the outdoor shower. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant and went out if their way to accommodate us. Eland... More

Stayed in the new Bush Tents and yes there were a few minor teething issues but let's face it if you want to "camp" with a difference then this is it. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a great time and will definitely visit there again. Will recommend to all my "camping" friends or anyone wanting a... More

This place is amazing. We stayed in the bush camp and the tents are comfortable and spacious. The restaurant serves DELICIOUS food and really good wine. They include breakfast in your stay and not just muesli and a muffin - eggs, bacon, eland sausage, smoked salmon, fruit, etc. The waiters are SO professional. The waiter that served us is called... we just stayed for a night. The place was very clean and nicely done with booma and outside shower etc. According info on booking website it should have been opened until 17h30, but when I phoned at 16h45 we were told that they closed already for the day. They made arrangements though to open the gate for us. We planned... More

Recent family lunch. Such a beautiful, special place to visit. Got the feeling that the restaurant had not been cleaned in a while. The tables were definitely not cleaned after previous visitors. Also many dead flies by the windows. Why can't they just clean it up? There were a few sure signs of absent management. It is such a pity... More

We arrived at !Khwa ttu in time for lunch before our booked guided walk. We had time to look at the many items for sale that are made by the San people. We were met outside by our young guide and taken back inside where the guide told us about his language of the San people and then we walked... More

We stopped by !Khwa Ttu after having found it when researching things to do near Darling, South Africa. Visiting from the U.S. we were open to seeing new things and learning about the people, culture, biology, geography of this area. Wonderful, interesting 2 half days touring this center. Short truck tour of property and demonstration of San skills by Andre... More

I stayed at the tented bush camp. Was surprised to find out only on arrival that they suggest you do not drink from the taps (borehole water). I hadn't brought any water with me and I was on a bicycle. It is also not clear from the website that the tented camp is on the other side of the freeway... More

The tour of the San Cultural Village is well worth taking. It is informative and interesting. Most importantly, this is an authentic way of trying to preserve San Culture, language and history. I am sure it would be a great day out for families. The restaurant also serves a good range of food. A little limited for vegetarians, but there... More
