We needed an indoor rainy day activity and the aquarium was the perfect choice. Plan on spending 3 hours to see the entire place. Parking is in a covered garage and very reasonable. Show your AAA card for a small discount. Teachers and emergency responders get a better discount with proper ID. There was a new exhibit on Pearl Harbor... More

Definitely worth it, went as soon as it opened at 9am so not to crowded. Love the tunnel, longer then other aquariums. So far this is my top aquarium I have visited. Lots to see and do.

We have been to numerous aquariums, including those in Atlanta, Chattanooga and Cincinnati...but the Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg still ranks as our very favorite. We have visited as a couple, with our youth group, and at the end of March with our five year old nephew. We visited on the Saturday of spring break and had to stand in line... More

All of us really enjoyed the aquarium from the adults to the 14, 11 and 9 year old. Great exhibits in a clean and fun environment. Lots of information for an educational experience as well as hands on experiences that were a favorite by all. For $3 you could get 3 small fish to feed the sting rays and the... More

We hadn't planned on visiting the aquarium on our recent trip to Gatlinburg. It was getting pretty warm that afternoon and it was nice to take a break and go inside. Our cabin company had given us a practically free ($1) ticket with the purchase of another adult ticket. Last time we had visited was in 2003 with our boys.... More

I really enjoy aquariums! This place was really nice and great for kids, but I'm not sure if I would go again. The shark exhibit was very nice, but one of the sharks was injured. There is a clear bottom boat ride over the sharks. It looks like the shark ran into it and it had a gash on the... More

A little crowded, but fun. We enjoyed ourselves. Pearl Harbor was good. The kids enjoyed the touch tanks.

My boyfriend and I spent hours here! We loved every second of it! If you bundle your ticket with other attractions, it's actually cheaper. It was worth every penny.

There are so many in-your-face touristy attractions on the main strip, that it can be overwhelming. This aquarium was a very nice altetnative. So many good, we'll maintained exhibits! And it is AZA accredited! The main tank has an underwater tunnel that is stunning. Well worth the visit.
