The village shops are my favorite area along the Gatlinburg Main Street. There are shops of all my favorite things: tea, cheese, donuts, spices...quaint fountains and thoughtful decoration.

We stopped by here serval days for shopping and snacks plus they had very clean restrooms. I wish the shops stayed open later. But other than that it's a must do area.

Went to the life is good store bought $60.30 worth of merchandise including tax it showed it on the register but the lady at the store said it was $96.30 I had to take her back-and-forth with her until she admitted that it was a mistake. Very shady and she did try to steal $30 from me if I would... More

What can I say about this place that hasn't already been said? I first visited it almost nine years ago when my now ex-wife and I were here to get married. Love the little shops - the set-up reminds me of European villages for some reason. The kids made sure we stopped in the donut shop. The ambience is just... More

This is where my husband always wants to walk to in Gatlinburg. He loves the quaint look of the place and the hot chocolate at the Donut Friar. We also love to browse the shops and art gallery.

It's cute and there's variety of shops for everyone. You can walk here if your hotel is just a 1/4 mile. You're better off than driving because you'll save time. Words of advice: Do not come to Gatlinburg during Presidents Day weekend if you're looking for a nice, quiet getaway. It's too crowded due to some convention.

We come here several times a year and always hit the village shops. Specifically I go for the sock shop, but while we're there we also check out the other stores including the art galleries and leather shops. They do have an oil and vinegar shop, in addition to a hot sauce shop, which is enjoyable too. There are religious,... More

We walked the Strip the first night we arrived and at 8pm, entered this area. Loved the quaintness of the stores. Quite a few were closed, but we figured that was the lateness of the hour. Came back the next day to look over the shops again. Several were closed due to smoke damage and restocking thanks to the wildfires... More

The Village is one of my favorite places in Gatlinburg. There are many quaint shops and cool places to take pictures. We love the Donut Friar. It is amazing to walk down in the mornings grab some donuts and coffee and sit by the fountain and eat. There is also a great candy store where you can watch the confectioners... More
