I love learning about the past and the people who forged their way West. It is very interesting to walk among the buildings still standing and read their story. Be sure ro pay the 50 cents for the pamphlet.

We actually was just walking through this building to get to the public restrooms located on the other side...but we actually stopped to read the history. The woman working inside was very knowledgeable of the area, the history of the cabin and the items inside....More

I always love to go visit the Ogle Cabin when I'm in the Smokies. The kids enjoy it as well. The nature trail leading from the cabin takes you along the creek and back into a burn area from the recent Gatlinburg Fire. It's sobering...More

This was a nice little nature trail that we just happened to stop at. It was an easy trail along a creek with pretty views.

It is on the way to Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail on Cherokee Orchard Rd-Part of Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Yes it was unaffected by the fires although they came close.
