I love doing this 8 mile loop. It is a lot of driving and stopping at various shops. There are so many different crafts to see: candles, soap, wood furniture, paintings, pottery and so much more. There are a few restaurants to eat along the way. Last time I was there, which was about 3 years ago, they had a... More

We last did the Arts & Crafts community in the mid 2000's. The individual artiseni, in their own buildings, doesn't seem to be as many as there used to be. The little strip mall shops were, for the most part, very clean and cute. Overall, the area doesn't seem as clean as it was on our last trip. But we... More

We visit Gatlinburg regularly and always like to visit certain craft shops to look at the latest crafts and purchase special gifts for ourselves and friends.

We have our favorites in the Arts & Crafts Community - Misty Mountain Soaps, More Than a Candle, Wild Plum Tea Room, Buckhorn Inn ... there are lots of places, and several areas where the shops are grouped together, namely Covered Bridge and Morning Mist. The entire route is accessible on the Trolley. Note that many businesses are closed in... More

I have traveled to Gatlinburg 4 times now. I love to see what is in the various shops. I love Misty Mountain Soap Company. There is a glass blowing shop that had beautiful items for purchase. Jewelry, artwork, wood carvings..... So much to see and buy!

There is something for everyone from cement castings to pottery to painting to woodworking to glass blowing. So many unique finds so you can be sure to find that special... More

I should have taken the trolley for this activity but instead I was driving my own car and trying to follow the route map that is available. My sister and I had a hard time trying to locate and so we gave up. So mu suggestion is, that if you want to visit the shops, jump on and off the... More

This is a great way to explore and enjoy arts and crafts for a day. Take your time and experience mountain arts at its finest as well as at its…..well…. Be sure that the shop has the official arts and crafts seal to be certain of authenticity and value!

Love this place with all the shops. Also appears to be a great area to reside in. If I were to move there, this is where I would look for a home.
