Colorado River Discovery offers the most fantastic one day rafting trips anywhere on the mighty Colorado River. We provide half-day and full day tours that are perfect for the entire family (kids aged 4 and up). Departing from the scenic town of Page, Arizona, your trip will begin with an exciting and exclusive ride down the two-mile long Glen Canyon Dam access tunnel. At river level, with the dam soaring 700 feet above you, you will board a comfortable pontoon raft for your journey downstream. While on the River, you will experience one of the most dramatic stretches of river in the western United States. Your experienced guide will tell the story of the area’s soaring sandstone cliffs, crystal blue-green waters, abundant wildlife, exploration by Major John Wesley Powell and others, and the river's modern role in the Southwest’s water and power delivery system.A stop to view an impressive set of ancient petroglyphs will offer a you chance to stretch your legs and enjoy your lunch while bearing witness to the area’s former inhabitance by ancient native cultures. If you choose, you may also refresh yourself by wading in the cold, clear river. Come and visit the river that we love... You'll be inspired!

What a great day. Our guide, Aron new tons of history about the river and made it very enjoyable. The petroglyphs were special. You just can’t appreciate the area until you have done a trip down the river. We even floated through Horseshoe Bend!

We had a leisurely ride through Glen Canyon on the raft. Our guide, Tia, shared many facts about the area. A highlight was landing the raft and taking a short walk to view 6000 year petroglyphs. Throughout, we were surrounded by the red rock cliffs...More

We did the half day float trip. You take a bus from the office to the river. Once there you do need to be able to walk a short distance down to the water. There were about 15 of us on the boat. We had...More

It's a fairly slow boat ride but nice views. The driver was sweet and knowledgable. Stopped for a swim in the freezing water for those who dared. Bought the trip lunch and it was fine. Def bring water and sunscreen!!!!

We took the four-hour rafting trip on the Colorado River. Although it was 110 F, we were comfortable cooling off with the 50 F river water. We even jumped into the water at the beach stop. My adult daughter says she will bring her sisters...More

For the less adventurous, no white water here, this is a great float down the Glen Canyon where the Colorado River is on. The way to the Grand Canyon. Stunning views, entertaining guide, fun group to be with.
