We were here off-season (i.e. no need to rent a houseboat). This shoulder season was nice as the crowds were relatively low, but the weather was still great. This area has so many amazing things to see and do, hikes to go on and views...More

Page, AZ is basically truly in the middle of nowhere . . . unless you grasp the overwhelming reality of everything that surrounds you for hundreds of miles in any direction. Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon are just some of remarkable wonders reflecting the power of...More

Lots of history and information about the town of Page. Unfortunately the elevator to the downstairs was inoperable so we only got to go out on the dam but wow, what an experience. Not to be missed but dress warmly as it’s cold on the...More

Great photos to be had at sunrise and sunset. Information centre is really interesting. Lots of helpful advice given on local hikes in the area. If you walk over the bridge, watch out for the peepholes in the fence which enable you to take better...More

It’s easy to spend a couple of hours driving and hiking through the area. Go down to the river and take a swim or just find great places to hike. The crowds were thin so you feel like you have the place to yourselves. Well...More

There is a fee to drive in but you can purchase the national park pass. The restrooms by the shore were closed but the Campground shop has 24hr restrooms and washers/dryers and even showers. You have to pay $2 for 15 minutes of water.

Visited the glen canyon national recreation area. There is a fee to enter the area. The bathrooms were closed due to winter season. The view was amazing with the water and having the calcium buildup on the canyons. Not many people during this time. The...More

Glen Canyon offers a spectacular venue for boating, rafting, camping, hiking and fishing. You are surrounded by 1400 foot red rock cliffs on each side. We were lucky to see a California Condor!

Nice, pretty, some info about sights provided. It’s a pretty area and the boat tour goes up a couple of canyons, you also get a bit of a view of the dam from a distance.

Yes it is accessible in March -- probably no different than July. The weather is cool which would make for nice hiking and sightseeing -- better than July! However, Springtime can be windy.
