It was a great trip there and back. We had to board the boat at 7:20 a.m. and bring our own lunch. It was an approximate two hour guided tour there with interesting tidbits about the scenery along the way. Upon arrival, we hiked one...More

Just over a mile pretty easy hike and you are rewarded not only with Rainbow Bridge but also Navajo Mountain in the background. Well worth the 2-1/2 hour boat trip to get there.

You get to this landmark by boat, and there's only one vendor providing the boat trip: Aramark. They did fine, and the destination is truly stunning, with a very scenic walk of about a mile each way—just enough to be an enjoyable trek. I give...More

There is reason this is a national monument, it is worth the effort to get there. These days it is only a short time from the lake. Before Lake Powell it was 7 miles from the river and still worth it.

Be prepared for an entire day event. Gorgeous boat ride out with option to sit up top (uncovered) or down below. As the desert sun can be grueling. Slight hike out to actual Rainbow Bridge. Take water with you. Sacred to the local people- it's...More

Say, "Wow!" Take 10 pictures. Repeat. The Lake Powell Resorts boat tour culminating in a walk out to Rainbow Bridge is a highlight and the sights are wondrous. Do not pass up this unique experience.

The trail is fairly easy unless you have difficulty walking on uneven or slightly rocky surfaces. A wheelchair or rolator is not useable on the trail. The trail provides great views of the colorful terrain and the arch is what I had on my bucket...More

It takes just over 2 hours to get here on the boat trip - which is nice enough but nothing spectacular (like you'd see in an European lake). There is a short walk to the bridge, I was amazed at how many Americans struggled with...More

Another good bit of advice would be to sit in the middle part of the boat! I learned this years ago.

Hi Liz, Thank you in advance for your time. My friends and I are interested in visiting Rainbow Bridge, we were wondering what transportation service did you use for the Lake Powell Boat Tour. Thank you, Emily

We have our own boat and know the lake very well. We always see 'new boaters' getting lost. If you have your own boat and are experienced, then it is a great adventure. Follow the channel markers. It is easy to end up... More
