It’s ok, wouldn’t recommend staying long but it’s a decent place if your interested in the history of the area. There are some nice walks around.

This is a great visitors center with a lot of awesome information and a nice gift shop. If you go around the back of the building, there is a great overlook that is right above the dam. You can also walk out onto the bridge from the parking lot. Great stop along the way to or from Page

The information we obtained at the Visitor Center was invaluable to finding the activities that best suited our needs during our visit to Page, AZ area. Great exhibits and a view too.

To see the dam and what's left of Lake Powell, you have to stop at the visitor center. The place is huge; there are so many graphs, photos, old and new, statistics, hands-on, easy to read/scan for everyone, perfect for any age! We were in there well over an hour!
It's actually a great wake-up call & scary to realize how much we waste, not just water, but everything. It tied in how our food, electricity, the climate, the animals, especially bees, and many other factors all contribute to shrinking water levels at warp speed.
A must-do if in the area! Very well done!!!

We stopped to take pictures of the dam and learned a lot about the area. Clean restrooms and the gift shop was handy for a quick snack.

The visitors centre is worth the stop because it’s beautiful AND you get a fabulous view of the dam. HOWEVER, the staff are zero help. They could not be less interested in their job.

Good mini museum about the Dam and beautiful view of Lake Powell. Also a good area to take pictures before visiting other canyons

This place gave some good overlooks of both sides of the dam and had some hands on exhibits on water usage, which has become a big concern lately for people in these parts. Gift shop to stamp your Parks passport and other souvenirs here, too.
