Average flea market finds. If you are in the area worth stopping by. But not special enough to make an extra trip.

One of my favorite "go to" Saturday morning stops. Art, Jewerly, Furniture, Silver, Gold, Schulpture, etc.

My wife and I being the big Flea Market groupies we thought we would visit the Brooklyn Flea Market; it is located at the arches under the Dumbo bridge. As mentioned in my title, the market is nice but overrated. There were some nice items, some vintage some not so vintage. Some of the stall holders had some ridiculous prices on some items, but then there were some stall owners who had reasonable pricing. I purchased some old number plates and some smaller items but overall a nice market.

I still would recommend a visit

Of you have nothing better to do a browse around this market could fill 30 minutes.

To be honest - it is not all that interesting and if you are from Europe the stuff is not all that ' vintage '.

But it a light open air space - not too crowded and an interesting neighbourhood.

I don't think I need to go back. One visit is enough.

Visited late morning on a raining May day. Was just about deserted and a wasted trip. Nothing else nearby to visit.

The winter market held across from Barclays Arena is very fun. Only 20 vintage vendors, high price-NYC style but good quality. Everyone seems to go to enjoy the food court with lots of great vendors from Mexican to Vietnamese.. had lots of fun! Good to be indoors, easy to get to on subway line..

Really great market, had some great coffee and 'Dough' donut which was great, highlight was the 'Dans parents house' stand, dude was awesome and was our kind of place. One of our favourite stops in our nyc visit!

Brooklyn Flea is not like any normal flea market. Relatively easy to get to from NYC and I saw a lot of antiques from vendors that I definitely wanted. However, the prices were too high for me and unfortunately only a great place to sight see and people watch.

I believe it only takes place in this indoor warehouse in the cold months, there were about 60 stands i think but most were really nice with exclusive wear. We bought some nice jewelry with personalized engraving (tie clip and a necklace). There are about 6 or 7 food stands there as well.
There was some really cool 80's and 90's toys aswel. We enjoyed the heated warehouse since it was freezing like crazy outside !
We recommend a visit here, it's free, fun and you can perhaps buy something nice and special instead of the typical tourist stuff.

Great location under the Manhattan bridge, with lovely views over the east river and over to the Brooklyn bridge - but the stalls were nothing special and everything was super-expensive
