This is one of the most beautiful churches in the world. The stained glass is the first made entirely in the U.S. by the Bolton brothers. In the 1990s the windows were taken apart and cleaned, the stone cleaned, and a project that involved iron work masters and American students forged on site a new fence and installed it. Call... This is a church with a rich history, suffering from neglect accompanying the fall off in attendance and changes in demographics. A large beautiful interior with very nice stained glass windows that have been restored. There is a great spirit to the 9:30 am service which is the most kid friendly service I have seen. Very informal and relaxed. The... More

A paper manufacturer, Edgar Bartow, purchased eight adjacent lots in the highest part of Brooklyn Heights from his father in-law Pierrepont in 1844. He then had this richly ornamented Gothic Revival church built here, because he wanted a place where the citizens of Brooklyn can worship on rent-free pews. The church is on the National register of historic places, with... More

This gorgeous Cathedral Church is truly a treasure! From its beautiful stained glass windows and architecture from the inside and out, St Ann and the Holy Trinity's Gothic features and ornate Sanctuary are lovely. We especially enjoy the services here. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and inviting! It is great feeling that you get when you come here. You always feel... More

Add this church to your places to visit while in or near Brooklyn Heights. It is convenient to subway stops and makes a good place to start or end a walk along Montague Street. The 275 ft tower is hard to miss. Inside, the church is filled with "acres" of 54 stained glass 19th century windows and details of architecture... More

Its a Protestant Episcopal Church of the Holy Trinity and I know they have wonderful stained glass windows in the church but you can not see them from the outside. I also know the church was used in the movie Prizzi's Honor.
