Nice place to walk and take pictures, not too crowded. You can get there from Manhattan with the east side ferries.

While many visitors to NYC don't go over to Brooklyn, it is worth the subway ride to walk along the promenade. It provides spectacular views of Manhattan's skyline but alos provides a great way to enjoy the city.

Great view of NYC, its a great place for photos, to clear your mind, romantic date and a stroll. The view of NYC is definitely better from this height for sure.

The promenade is a beautiful walk along the Brooklyn Heights with gorgeous and varying views of Manhattan, the East River waterfront, and New York Harbor. The environs includes some interesting shops and restaurants. The promenade is a lovely break for the outdoor person.

On this walk you are facing the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline which of course spectacular at night. We posed in front of this scene and it made a great Christmas card photo. If in Brooklyn and you like to walk, don’t miss it.
