Took a 2 hour walk along the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Wonderful views of Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan from the south shore. Easy walking on wide paved walkway, with well delineated walking/jogging vs cycling lanes. A really pleasant surprise.

This is one of the best vantage points for seeing the city from afar. European tourists have figured this out; American tourists less so.

Spectacular views of lower Manhattan. Easy subway ride from Manhattan. First stop in Brooklyn. Right in an historic preservation district. Beautiful brownstones. Enjoy brunch or dinner. Many restaurant choices.

Really nice place. We enjoyed walking the Brooklyn Bridge, later the Promenade and finally we visited Pier 11 and 15 arriving there by ferry. Recommendable!
