This gem of a park was so pretty with tulips and flowering trees when we visited in the spring. The NYC skyline was gorgeous and the views of the Brooklyn Bridge were inspiring. We were so glad we made the short walk to the park. We took in the promenade and Montague St street before we walked the Brooklyn bridge.... More

Very nice journey on a quiet promenade in front of Manhattan. Unforgettable. Easy to reach by subway or after crossing the bridge.

After a walk through the lovely Brooklyn heights we decided to take the promenade. The views of lower manhattan and Brooklyn bridge are spectacular.

The promenade is a fabulous place for a walk. A sit. Lunch. On a beautiful spring day I could stay there forever. Bring a cup of coffee and have a seat facing lower manhattan on one of so many benches with the gorgeous tulips in bloom. Might have been the best part of the trip.

The Promenade walk offers some of the best views of lower Manhattan, the East River and it's bridges as well as the Statue of Liberty. It is surrounded by families and at night couples out for a romantic walk. Located in Brooklyn Heights on top of the BQE between Atlantic avenue and Cadman Plaza. It is maintained by NYC Parks... If you love to people-watch, be sure to stroll along here on Sunday afternoon. We did it twice, and it is so relaxing. Great photo ops and views of Manhattan skyline / Statue of Liberty.
