Great way to spend an hour if you have an hour to spare & you don't want to do nothing.

I would have been very interested in visiting this small museum (located on the only army base in New York Fort Hamilton) which is devoted to the history of Fort Hamilton (which played a role in the war of independence and the 1812 war with the Uk and has information on the way New York is "defended" against weather events... More

The boys had more fun than the girls because of all the weapons and because they got to go onto a real military base, and pass security . To visit this place may need some guts to visit because it is located inside of the Brooklyn army base which mean guarded with army force. After you enter the base entrance wait for the officer and tell them you want to visit the museum and they will point you to a little house which labeled as Visitor Center. Show... More

Small museum. but interesting, guide was very helpful. The fort it self is now a Community club. Can spend about one hour touring. Views of Lower harbor are great
