If you visit Manhattan, don't forget the other side of the Brooklyn Bridge. It is a great park and easy ferry away. The tour guides are friendly and very helpful.

Some of the old port area has been reclaimed to create this beautiful park below the bridge and viewing lower Manhattan. Well-maintained and much used.

We walked throughout the park on several occasions. Plenty of shaded area to have a picnic lunch or throw/kick a ball.

A nice park in Brooklyn. The view of the NYC skyline is very beautiful. The park is clean and not overcrowded. I recommend getting the ice cream from the Shake Shack.

this is the perfect place to see NYC. You can see the ferries, run along the park, and minutes from the bridge. Amazing view and times here.

You may have to circle for a while or pay for parking at one of the lots in Brooklyn

As a tourist I am going to visit the Brooklyn Bridge Park soon. Afterward I would like to return to Manhattan via walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. I am encountering a bit a problem discerning by looking at maps the best walking route between the BB Park and the Brooklyn entrance to the Brooklyn Bridge. Can anyone shed some light on not necessarily the quickest or short route to take, but the safest and most pedestrian friendly route to navigate between these two experiences? Thank you! Judi
